Full development of the logo and visual identity for Unseen Cat Studio, an independent game development studio. The project encompassed the design of the logotype, a cohesive typographic and colour system, and a series of social media graphics created to launch and promote the new brand identity — building recognition from the ground up across both print-ready and digital formats.


Creative Process

Unseen Cat Studio was founded by two collaborators who had never met in person — and that origin became the conceptual core of the identity. The cat, an animal tied to horror, duality, and psychological unease, was a natural fit for a studio whose games live in that same ambiguous space. The mark pairs two overlapping silhouettes — one white, one black — translating the founders' unseen connection into a single, scalable symbol. The new identity moves away from the atmospheric moodiness of the previous logo toward something more structural and precise, designed to hold across social, digital, and print contexts.

Design a bold, immediately recognisable visual identity for an Italian indie game studio whose work sits at the intersection of horror, psychology, and independent game development.

Research

Context analysis, collection of visual and cultural references, and conversations with the founders to define the studio's core values and thematic direction.

Development of two alternative creative directions presented through mood boards and initial sketches. Direction selected collaboratively with the client.

Construction of the full system: logotype, typography, colour palette, and icon. Iterated through feedback rounds and tested across digital and social formats.

Final logo variations, brand guidelines document, and a complete digital kit ready for use across platforms and future promotional materials.
